Applications
The SR 7000 Standard Duty insulated impact traffic doors are designed for applications where pedestrian, cart or non motorized pallet jacks are used to transport goods from one area to another.
Good for all pedestrian, carts or non motorized pallet jack traffic in a dry storage, refrigerated or wash down environments.
Limitations
The SR 7000 series is good for most applications excluding all motorized or
man ridden traffic.
Features & Advantages
All SR 7000 doors feature a patent pending 1/16” ABS outer
shell forming a 1 3/4” thick panel that will retain its physical properties
to –40°C.
The SR 7000 door body is impervious to moisture, acid, petroleum products, animal fats, rodents, insects and salt solutions.
Cores are foamed in place high density non-CFC urethane bonded to the outer shell producing an “R” factor of 12.18
SR 7000 doors are known for their construction of lightweight yet rugged materials, as well as their ease of maintenance and long service life. This allows them to open easily, operate smoothly and allow for safe, damage-free passage of personnel and equipment
Perimeter edges are bull nosed with a minimum 5/16” radius to prevent excessive wear on the edges. All SR 7000 are internally reinforced with 1 ¼” wood in hardware mounting locations and in all corners (gussets). Gasket keys are molded in place and retain gasketing without the use of screws, rivets or other fasteners. Replacement of gasketing is simple and easily done on site.
Standard single pane or optional double pane vision panels are available in three standard sizes based on door panel width. See SR 7000 Vision Panel Chart. They are made of 1/8” clear polycarbonate set in a black vacuum formed frame all sealed to the door panel. Vision Panels are mounted at 60” center line from finished floor as standard or to meet ADA requirements upon request.
All SR 7000 Insulated Impact Traffic Doors operate on the CMI Stainless Steel “V” cam gravity hinging system complete with bottom hinge pin assembly.
Options & Colors
Optional spring bumpers, impact plates, partial edge gasketing, lower
hinge guards and double pane vision panels are all available. All add years
to the life of your door without compromising fit or finish.
The SR 7000 is available in your choice of 14 standard colours see ABS color chart for your choice.

Installation & Maintenance
The SR 7000 Series are conveniently packaged ready to install upon
delivery in existing or factory supplied frames. Easy-to-follow instructions
along with thread forming fasteners are included in every package.
These require only periodic cleaning with a strong industrial soap or detergent. Regular lubrication of moving parts is also recommended.
Warranty
A three year hinging system & one year panel warranty against
door panel breakage is offered on the SR 7000 Standard Insulated Doors subjected
to non motorized cart or pallet jack traffic. All warranties stipulate correct
installation and sizing requirements.
Order Fulfillment
Most orders are filled within a 3 to 4 week period. All orders are
FOB Winnipeg , MB . Prepaid freight is available at extra cost.
