Applications
The SR 5000 Rigid Traffic Door is designed with many uses in mind from retail and commercial to food processing and packing plants.
Good for all pedestrian, carts or non-motorized hand traffic in dry storage or wash down environments.
Limitations
Not recommended where temperature, dust or noise control is required.
Features & Advantages
Door panels are made of ½” thick stress relieved and
sanitized high-density polyethylene material. The back spine is a continuous
one-piece extruded ¼ ” aluminum in the form of a ½”
tube with flanges that reinforce the door panel. All door edges are radius
for safety.
All this operates on the CMI “DA” Return Hinging System with hardened steel cam and rollers. The bottom hinge pin assembly is a steel rod welded to a 3/16” thick steel angle.
Doors are custom built to your own specific requirements and can be ordered up to 48” x 96” for singles and pairs up to 96” x 96”.
Standard vision panels are 9" x 14" durable, clear acrylic set in black rubber molding and centered at 60" from the finish floor. Other configurations and sizes are available upon request. See Vision Panel Chart.
Door Models
SR 5000 - Door panels are made of ½" thick stress relieved
and sanitized high- density polyethylene material. The back spine is continuous
one-piece extruded ¼" aluminum in the form of a ½"
tube with flanges that reinforce the door panel. All door edges are radius
for safety. All this operates on the CMI Type "C" Gravity Hinging
System with hardened steel cam and rollers. The bottom hinge pin assembly
is a steel rod welded to a 3/16" thick steel angle. See Diagram "A".
All hardware is powder coated Gray.
SR 5700 - Door panels are made of ½" thick stress relieved and sanitized high- density polyethylene material. The back spine is 1 7/8" reinforced HDP material radius for safety along all door edges. All SR 5700 Insulated Impact Traffic Doors operate on the CMI Stainless Steel "V" cam gravity hinging system complete with bottom hinge pin assembly. See Diagram "B" for hardware and lower hinge guard details.
SR 5800 - Door panels are made of ½" thick stress relieved and sanitized high- density polyethylene material. The back spine is 7/8" reinforced HDP material radius for safety along all door edges. All SR 5700 Insulated Impact Traffic Doors operate on the CMI Stainless Steel "V" cam gravity hinging system complete with bottom hinge pin assembly. See Diagram "B" for hardware and lower hinge guard details.
Options & Colors
Optional spring bumpers, impact plates or lower hinge guards are
recommended in applications where cart traffic exists. All add years to the
life of your door without compromising the fit and finish.
The SR 5000 is available in your choice of standard Gray, White or Chocolate Brown. Optional colors and color matches available upon request. All doors are made with colorfast material, so while your door takes the punishment it never loses its color.

Installation & Maintenance
Doors are conveniently packaged ready to install upon delivery in
existing or factory supplied frames. The package includes templates, drawings,
thread-forming fasteners and easy-to-follow instructions.
These doors require only periodic cleaning with an industrial soap or detergent. Regular lubrication of moving parts is recommended.
Warranty
The SR 5000 carries a three year hinging system & one year panel warranty
against faulty materials and workmanship. All warranties stipulate correct
installation and sizing requirements.
Order Fulfillment
Most orders are filled within a 2 to 4 week period. All orders are FOB Winnipeg.
Prepaid freight is available at extra cost.
